A Campaign Completed. A Team That Deserved Something To Remember It By
Solar Alert and the HESS Subsurface Team came to SCN at the completion of the Phase 4 North Malay Basin Wells Campaign. The collaboration was done. The team had delivered. What they wanted now was something that honoured that an identity and a jacket to wear with pride.
SCN designed the team identity from scratch, the P4 mark, the PHASE FOUR// logotype, a full colour system — and applied it to a custom jacket issued to every member of the campaign. Not promotional merchandise. A keepsake that carried the spirit of what the team had built together.
The P4 Mark
Designed from scratch for the NMB Phase 4 Wells Campaign. The P4 mark combines the letter P and numeral 4 into a single locked-up symbol, compact enough for sleeve placement, strong enough to anchor the full identity system for the campaign.
Built to work across sublimation print, embroidery, and reflective applications on the jacket.

Every Placement, Briefed Precisely
Before a single unit went into production, every decoration position was mapped and locked. The artwork placement diagram went to the factory as the production brief. Nothing was left to interpretation. This is how SCN controls quality at the source, precision at the brief stage, not revision rounds after the fact.
Every detail of the Phase 4 jacket was intentional. The sleeve carries a 4-bar 3M reflective decal, each bar representing Phase 4, while the chest bears the Phase 4 logo in 3M reflective print. The hood slogan and sleeve artwork were executed in 3M reflective, meaning the jacket reads differently in low-light conditions — a functional performance feature that doubles as a visual statement.
Orange was chosen deliberately throughout as the accent colour: the cord tab zipper puller, the IP PHASE4 keychain lanyard, and the contrast detailing against the dark base fabric. The detachable zipper accessory was designed as both a functional element and a keepsake, something the team could carry long after the campaign ended. Waterproof sealed zipper seams, velcro strap cuffs, and a ripstop reinforced rim completed the performance brief.

"The jacket performed well in the rain. The design feels classy — mysterious. People need to look twice to see the actual design. I give 5 stars." - Ashikin (HESS E&P Malaysia)
